I have sone wiringproblems with my petrol berlingo 2000 mod. My horn is not working, have checked the horn it works with direct power. CB is ok.according to Haynes manual it is wire no 250 is going between horn + side and is routed direct to the steering wheel push button. Not via the BSI unit. I am fairly familiar with Lexia but I certainly haven't ever had to programme a BSI from scratch. Some of the common causes that stops the horn from working normally on your BMW X5 are blown fuse, bad relay, faulty horn, corroded or worn out connector, broken wire, broken clock spring or bad horn button. 1. Blown fuse. The horn on BMW X5 needs electricity to work. In case of a faulty fuse, the circuit is interrupted and the horn can not work. As the horn your Xantia is on the end of the stalk and AFAIK it's not very common for the stalk button to fail I'd say your best bet is to look at the horn itself for the fault, they are located just ahead of the N/S/F wheel/behind the bumper so you'll need to at least pull back the sLxdNqe.
